Job Description

Requirements :

1. MD or DO candidates.
2. Urology residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
3. Board certified or board eligible candidates required.
4. Additional training or experience in endourology is a plus!
5. Seeking candidates ready to begin practice immediately (allowing 120 days for credentialing)

Position Details:

1. Employed position with Texas Health Urology Specialists , part of Texas Health Physicians Group, including attractive compensation and benefits package
2. The staffing plan is in place with four Urology hospitalists to cover all the ER call. Outpatient urology physicians will not have any unassigned hospital call.
3. This practice uses Epic EMR, as does the hospital so information is seamless

1. Practice is located on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in a recently remodeled clinic that includes 17 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms.
2. 21 st century urologic equipment and capabilities. These include the following:
1. Transperineal biopsy suite
2. BK5000 with MR fusion capability in the clinic
3. Cystoscopy suites linked to PACS
3. This opening is in a central location with access to all the amenities the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex has to offer – the schedule provides great hours and a good work-life balance.
4. The practice is up-and-running and has a great referral base. There is opportunity to grow the practice in different areas in the Metroplex.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is our flagship facility serving a population of over 2.5 million. Located in the Medical District, Texas Health Fort Worth is a regional referral center for 26 counties, with transfers and referrals from as far away as El Paso, Texas and parts of Oklahoma. It has a census of about 600 patients per day and 27 ORs. This facility is presently a Level II Trauma Center but is working toward a Level I designation. Texas Health Fort Worth has a robust emergency department with more than 90,000 visits and an active call schedule.
